My full mobile rig consists of a top quality sound system (as appropriate for the size of your party), a selection of standard lighting effects plus a laser effect, moving head lights (to create some dazzling effects!), 2 giant silk flame effects, all of which can be complimented by a smoke machine. In short, it's a very professional set up. I carry a comprehensive selection of music & will be able to cater for most requests on the night, which is something I actively encourage. Beforehand, we can go through your specific requests for the evening including your first dance & any other special songs (as well as any you don't want playing!). At this point, you could, if you so wish, prepare a whole set list, which I'll be happy to work from as required. Some wedding clients compile a list of their guests favourite dance floor songs for me to play from which, again isn't a problem.
As well as the disco, I will also act as the host for the evening - introducing the cake cutting, first dance, any live entertainment & making announcements as required. My dress code for a wedding is normally suit & tie as appropriate the occasion. I'm there all night & will fit in with how you want your evening to run. But if you do want any suggestions for timings etc, I'm more than happy to have a chat with you about it.
If you are having your wedding breakfast there earlier in the day, then also proving quite popular, is me actually setting up the PA before the wedding breakfast, so you have full use of the PA for background music, the radio microphone for the speeches & me acting as host for your speeches as well as making any other announcements.
I play at many 4 & 5 star venues throughout the area including: Liverpool’s Crowne Plaza & Marriott hotels, Haydock Thistle, Leasowe Castle, the Racquet Club & West Tower (who recommend me as one of their suppliers). Over the last 15 years I have played at countless weddings & other events.
My electrical equipment is all PAT tested & I have public liability insurance. This is not only for your peace of mind but also a requirement by some hotels/venues. I am also a member of the National Association of DJ’s & wedding DJ’s Association. My bookings are backed up with a written confirmation/contract for clarity.
I also work within a small network of fellow DJ’s, so, if I'm unavailable, I may be able to help you find a good quality alternative.
Fees: Each quote is tailored for your needs. However, as a general guide, expect to pay £250 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday or £195 on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. This covers a normal evening reception playing from 7.30pm with the full mobile rig. City centre gigs may incur a £20 premium if there is parking, loading or access issues.
